Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif ZNMD has no buyers, Kites effect??

Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif starrer mega- budget upcoming flick ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ is still unsold and producers are finding it hard to sell the movie on their terms due to bombing of Hrithik- Barbara Mori’s last venture ‘Kites’ at the box office. Sources from the trade reveal that the producers had approached two big corporate houses for the film.
But they never reverted with positive answers and believed to have told that they could not commit big sum of amount on Hrithik Roshan now. The buzz is that Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment wanted Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ to be sold along with Abhishek Bachchan-Kangna Ranaut ‘Game’ for a whopping sum of Rs 100 crores.
But corporate houses were unwilling to bet on these two stars after the debacle of big -budget flicks ‘Kites’ and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’. They are not willing to pay this amount without going through every detail about the film and then even pruning.
The amount to reasonable level. Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer flick has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and largely shot in Spain. The film has big canvas and even the expertise of a good director like Zoya, but corporates have been refusing to bite the bait.

Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan clash at box office

Salman Khan was keen on releasing Dabangg on Eid and, as the man wanted, the film is releasing on September 10. But it is not going to be solo release. The Aishwarya Rai-Rajnikant film Endhiran (‘The Robot’ in Hindi), which will release in three languages, is also set for release during that time.
This box office clash was also the reason why Karan Johar postponed the release of his production We Are Family to September 3. Siddharth Malhotra the director of We Are Family says, “Dabangg and Shankar’s Robot are releasing on Eid.
So we have Bollywood’s Rajnikanth (Salman) and Rajnikanth on the same day. It just made no sense for us to release with them. We are coming a week earlier, aaram se.” But, Endhiran’s release date is still not confirmed, according to industrywallahs. Trisha Krishnan Reveals Her Dream Actors List

Trisha eyes to play a long inning in the Bollywood film industry and she targets only those actors who are already established and can make her presence more prominent. Her dreams actors are SRK and Aamir Khan and she yearns to work with them someday. She adds, “I would love to work with established stars like Aamir and SRK. Also, young actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan are very promising.”
Well, this choice is obvious for any newcomer, but one would wonder that why she didn’t name her ‘Khatta Meetha’ co-star Akshay Kumar, whom she was praising like anything before the movie’s release?
She even states.
When I started my career in South, I worked with well packaged filmmakers and will follow the same in Bollywood. Since I want to establish myself here, I intend to be part of well packaged films.” Does she mean that she does not want to work in films like ‘Khatta Meetha’ anymore? The meaning can be best interpreted by the actress herself.
Trisha further explains, “As I am venturing in this industry I am making cautious moves...Also, I am choosy about the films I do. I want to slowly and gradually make a mark in this industry as well.” Right now, she doesn’t have any ‘well-packaged’ films kind of offers, but she would be seen for the time being with Prateik Babbar in a Tamil movie remake.

Shah Rukh finds a place at New York Madame Tussauds

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has found a pride of place among the wax figures of the famous at the famed Madame Tussauds wax attraction at the Times Square here.
The 45-year-old star's wax figure was unveiled Thursday amid a colourful performance by Bollywood Axion dance troupe that dancing to.

The actor known as 'King Khan' is the latest addition to Madame Tussauds brightly-colored, fully-interactive 'Bollywood Zone,' which allows guests to feel as though they are on a Bollywood film set.
Khan stands in a small room on the 9th floor and is the second waxwork to enter the Bollywood Zone at the Madame Tussauds in New York after Amitabh Bachchan was introduced last year.
In the room next to where Khan was unveiled, there is an exhibition of presidents of the United States and world leaders, which include Mahatma Gandhi, Fidel Castro, Helen Keller, Martin Luther King Jr., Yasser Arafat and Napoleon.

Aisha opens to a mixed response

The chick-flick Aisha toplining Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor, that released last week, opened to a mixed response.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, “The film was received well at multiplexes with 70 to 80 per cent occupancy on Friday.
However, the response at single-screens and small centres was dull, with the opening being in the range of 20 per cent to 25 per cent.”
This was corroborated by Prakhar Joshi, Head of Programming, PVR Cinemas, who said, “The film has taken a good opening.
It has collected about Rs 2.45 crore across the country. Our multiplexes in South Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai have opened with almost 90 per cent occupancy over the weekend. Compared to this, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai collected Rs 1.2 crore in the same period.”
