Katrina keeps Akshay waiting

After the blockbuster of ‘Singh Is Kinng’, the makers of the film are keen to make its sequel. But wait is for Katrina Kaif.

The film will roll when Katrina Kaif will become free from her other assignments. Meanwhile, she is busy with other projects and not able to give dates to Akshay.

In stead of Anees Bazmee, the film will be directed by Vipul Shah as Anees is busy with other projects. The shooting will commence very soon and the sequel would start from Australia.

Akshay and Katrina has delivered hit after hit. They are considered lucky mascot for each other. So, Akshay is keen to have Katrina in the sequel too.

Like ‘Singh Is Kinng’, Akshay will again don the Sikh avatar in the second part also. Next Akshay will be seen in Vipul Shah’s.

‘Action Replay’ with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Together Akshay and Vipul have delivered number of hits and now they are waiting for another blockbuster.

Katrina Kaif: In no Mood to tell all!

Katrina Kaif, the star with an all lucky charm, is on a real high due to the appreciation she got for her astounding performance in the recently released ‘Rajneeti’.

The star is pinning on this flick to win her accolades and awards galore at this years various awards functions.

But, not one to waste much time, the actress is at present in Spain, busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara’.

Apart from that, she is also awaiting to get the re-make rights of a French film, which had released in 2006.

The buzz is that she is not going to be producing the film, as was reported earlier. Rather.

She is waiting to enact a particular role that has interested her in the original version. Until now.

Katrina was considered a glam doll and was always seen as a decorative item in films, but with ‘Rajneeti’.

Priyanka Chopra to look like her grandmother

She will age gracefully and will look like her granny! Yes, in Vishal Bhardawaj’s film Saat Khoon Maaf, the 65-year-old Priyanka Chopra will be made to look like her grandmother.

The special team of make-up artists for ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ worked on Priyanka’s aged look and as per reports took her grandmother’s pics to use as reference for her authentic look.

A source is quoted as saying, “They did a couple of images on the computer to show the natural transition from 30 to 65. Then they used her (Priyanka) grandmother’s photo to try.

And make her look as close to her as possible.” The final results were compelling. To guard Priyanka’s seven looks in the film Vishal has banned camera cell phones on the sets.

Lara Dutta joining PETA bandwagon

With the mention of the word PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), one is filled with images of animals and their 'saviors' (the recent past includes.

The likes of John Abraham, Celina Jaitley, Sherlyn Chopra), who we better know as 'Ambassadors'.

According to sources, the latest one to join this bandwagon is none other than Lara Dutta, who, the sources add has already shot.

An ad with greens all over her body. She will be supporting the cause of 'Go Vegetarian'. Lara, for starters, has always been.

The duo, who are in Spain for the shooting of Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, are having a blast. They were out on the streets of Spain smashing tomatoes on each other at the annual Tomato festival that was held there.

“I had only heard about it, but now I got to experience it. The ritual brings in good luck. People from all over the world come to witness it. I had a lot of fun,” Kat told a daily from Spain. Mrs. Roshan, however, missed all the fun. Reason: the smell of rotting tomato pulp was driving her crazy.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan says yes to Vishal finally

The source adds that Bharadwaj was hurt by Ash’s constant refusals, but the actress would repeatedly tell friends that she would love to work with him, dates permitting.

Dhoni's wedding was planned, says Bipasha

Contrary to rumours that Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni decided to get married on the spur of the moment, actress Bipasha Basu, a close friend of the cricketer, says the wedding was planned months in advance.

Bipasha said, "The wedding on Sunday night was all planned. But no one was supposed to know about it. Whatever the truth, we must all be happy for the couple. It's party time!"

Alas, Bipasha's party for Dhoni's wedding would have to wait. She is shooting in the back of the beyond and couldn't join her boyfriend John Abraham for the wedding ceremony.

Says the saddened actress: "I couldn't go for the wedding because I'm shooting in Diu for Priyadarshan's Aakrosh. But John is there. He's back on Monday. I'll celebrate with Dhoni and his wife when they return to Mumbai."

Singh Is Kinng 2 with Akshay and Katrina

Akshay Kumar is eager to get the next installment of Singh Is Kinng rolling. The movie will see Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif reprise their roles. The sequel is expected to begin where the first Singh Is Kinng trailed off. The sequel will be directed by Vipul Shah himself. As per reports Vipul has stated, "Yes, after much planning and plotting, and two years since the first film, we've finally cracked an idea that works.
My writer Suresh Nair and I are happy with what we've come up with. And yes I'll be directing the sequel." The sequel is slated to roll early 2011, as Katrina is completely booked till next year. Akshay is currently busy with Patiala House and Katrina Kaif is in Spain shooting for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It has been reported that Akshay is dedicating 'Singh is Kinng 2' to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ji.

SIFAA plans to blacklist Asin

Actress Asin, who was in Colombo for the shooting of the Bollywood film Ready, has irked the bosses of South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA).

Now, several Tamil associations are gunning for the actress for travelling to Sri Lanka by bypassing the Tamil sentiments.

The secretary of Nadigar Sangam, Radha Ravi has said that he is in discussion with several organization.

And action will be taken in coming days. The SIFAA is planning to blacklist Asin. Earlier, SIFAA took a firm stand and urged to boycott IFAA Awards.

Which was held recently in Colombo. It also had warned actors not to visit the island nation and those.

Who attend the function will have to face the wrath of SIFAA. In fact, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Namitha, Genelia cancelled their trip.
