Bollywood beauty Sushmita Sen and Pakistani cricket legend great Wasim Akram have teamed up to kick off a reality show.

An indian television channel Colors has launched India's first cricket-format reality show titled "Ek Khiladi EK Haseena", which is a combination of cricket stars and glamour queens.

The show will team up present day cricket heroes with some of the hotest ladies from Indian television to fight out not on the grass but on the dance-floor.

Amitabh Or Muzaffar Ali Shah!

Filmmaker and fashion designer Muzzaffar Ali is upset that Amitabh Bachchan's look in "The Last Lear" has been styled on him and says he doesn't want anyone to imitate his looks.

The director of the film Rituparno Ghosh has however denied the allegation and maintains that Big B was supposed to look like Rabindranath Tagore. The controversy surfaced when Ali started receiving phone calls from foreigners who thought Bachchan's look in the film was styled on him.

Ali's director son Shaad Ali also affirmed that the look of Big B's character in the film was based on him. “It is absolutely wrong to associate someone like this. I am a very private person and I don't want to attract any attention,” Ali said. Ghosh however

According to a recent interview, our very own Lollywood actress Resham is dreaming of becoming a movie producer.  She is very excited about venturing into the telefilm industry.  As for her acting future, she says, "I am tired of the glamorous roles; I want to accept roles where I can grow as an actress." All doesn’t seem well on the Shah Rukh Khan-Rani Mukerji front. Great friends once upon a time, it seems the relationship is now turning sour.

A few days back Shah Rukh signed Priyanka Chopra for a special appearance dance number in his home production “Billoo Barber” while Rani had been expected to do the same.

Now, Rani is suddenly out of Shah Rukh’s "Temptation Reloaded" stage show in Dubai, scheduled for October 25, 2008 at Dubai Festival City arena.

Kareena Kapoor has been signed in her place. She will be performing along with Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Anushka Dandekar and Ganesh Hegde.

Glamorous Bipasha Basu, who sizzled in "Race" and "Bachna Ae Haseeno", says confidence, poise and intelligence are a must to look sexy.

"For me, being sexy is a merger of many factors - absolutely a good physique and a perfect-10 for health. A good face helps. But confidence, good posture and intelligence are musts. Just a body won't do," Bipasha told in an interview.

Vidya needs a mENtoR

Vidya Balan is doing every bit that she can to deliver her best in Vishal Bharadwaj's "Ishqiya". For this, she even joined a 10-day workshop with her co-star Naseeruddin Shah.

"The character that Vidya is playing in 'Ishqiya' is very complex and difficult to enact. Vidya thought that the way to emote the character on screen was best learnt from Naseeruddin Shah because the veteran actor is a master at it," a source close to the actress said.

"She was ecstatic to be discussing cinema with the master himself. Though they ended up discussing the film and cinema at length instead of doing a serious workshop, Vidya treasures the experience and is looking forward to working with the actor in the film," added the source.

Priyanka is SRK's third diva

After Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra has been chosen as the third heroine to make a special appearance in Priyadarshan's Billoo Barber and shake a leg with Shah Rukh Khan.

And Priyadarshan says it was a cakewalk for the superstar to get the leading ladies to do a cameo in his comedy.

"Since Shah Rukh plays a film star in the movie, I needed him to do some big glamorous song and dance numbers with some top heroines. I left the choice to Shah Rukh. I knew all he had to do was to pick up the phone and ask any of his leading ladies," said the fimmaker.

According to sources, it was a tie between Rani Mukherji and Priyanka for the third item song with Shah Rukh Khan in Billoo Barber.

Old Love Birds, Salman Ash Together Again!

Old love birds, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai are planning to appear together again in a film. They will be seen in a film together, (Abishekh dont get hyper) they will not appear as romantic leads. Director Priyadarshan has finally managed to rope in Aishwarya for his next, and the film reportedly features a cameo by Salman. The male lead has yet to be confirmed. 'Jassi' at last on the big screen!

'Jassi' Mona Singh, who has just turned 27, has more than one reason to celebrate - the popular TV actress has just been signed by Rajkumar Hirani for a pivotal role in "3 Idiots".

Her track is totally different from Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor and also not featured in Chetan Bhagat's novel.

"Yeah, I am doing Rajkumar Hirani's film. And I couldn't have hoped for a better birthday gift. What do I play? All I can tell you is, I don't play one of the idiots. I play the sayaani (wise) character, ha ha," Mona, who celebrated her birthday on Wednesday (October 8).

Mona, who became popular after playing an unattractive bespectacled secretary in "Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin", had to wait long for her movie debut.

Actress Kareena Kapoor is the latest in Bollywood to become net-savvy and will soon launch her own website. According to a spokesperson for the actress, it will be fashion-oriented. The site will have updates not only on Kareena’s fashion trends but also the trends which take place all over the globe a spokesperson for the actress, who is shooting for ‘3 Idiots’ with Aamir Khan in Ladakh.
The spokesperson further said that Kareena has always had a passion for fashion. And there have been number of occasions where Kareena has actively participated in designing her costumes in films. Kareena has always wanted to launch her own brand of clothes. The website is her first step in that direction. She has always kept herself updated about the latest trends in the fashion industry worldwide. Kat on the top notch of price

Katrina Kaif, who has delivering six back-to-back hits at the box office, has apparently become the highest paid actress in the industry.

Her current market rate is Rs.3.5 crores and she is likely to cross the mark very soon as big production houses are keen to sign her at any cost.

According to sources, Katrina has signed a two-film deal for an amount that far exceeds her present rate of Rs.3.5 cores. One film is by Abbas-Mustan and the other is supposed to be a Hollywood film.

When quizzed about the same, Katrina did not reveal much and only said that she too hopes to create magic with big production houses.

Rani crossing limits with Shahid

After three years together, Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan have decided to call it a day.  Robert Garlock, the actor's representative, said in a statement that they "have decided to split amicably''. Mistakes but no regrets says Spears' mom

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Lynne Spears says every mother makes mistakes but she has no regrets about letting her daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn pursue their dreams of stardom.
"I think you have to let them follow their dreams. I think it would be worse in the end if you didn't," Spears, 53, told People magazine in an interview marking the publication next week of her much-anticipated memoir.
As Britney's star rose, Spears said she felt she was losing control over both her daughter and how she was portrayed.
"I let other people talk me out of things that I felt a gut instinct about," she told People.
The memoir "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," is published by Thomas Nelson, a Christian publisher of bibles and inspirational books.

CMA nominations: Not so 'Swift'?

Brooks & Dunn have a nifty hit single out now called “Put a Girl in it,” and I only wish the country music industry would take that advice more often. I thought about it as the nominees for the 42nd annual CMA Awards were announced today. Country insiders often bemoan the fact that female artists seem to generally have a tougher time of it at radio than male artists do, or that they at least seem to have fewer slots open to them. That is perennially reflected in the nominations for the CMAs’ highly coveted Entertainer of the Year prize. How long has it been since a woman was even nominated in the category? Here’s a clue: The last female nominee was the then-superstar/now-pariah Dixie Chicks! (You can find a historical list of nominees dating back to 1967 here.) So I was stunned and amazed today when into this reliably vagina-free zone walked Sugarland, who would initially seem, on the face of it, to be half-ineligible.
