Salman Khan Up Comming & Mega Budget Movie DABANGG: Heard this?? Salman Khan’s upcoming mega-budget flick ‘Dabangg’ is so hot in the circuit that the owners of some single screen theatres have been refusing even Karan Johar’s upcoming ‘We Are Family’, starring Kajol- Kareena, a two week run at their theatres.
As Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Dabangg’ is set for an Eid release on September 10, the theatre owners’ two week commitment to Karan Johar would affect Salman’s film, as ‘We are Family’ is releasing on September 3.

 For instance, Manoj Desai of Maratha Mandir says, ‘I can not take ‘We are family’ for just two shows. If Karan is confident about the film, he should not be asking for the commitment of two weeks. He should let the film speak for itself and let the single screen owners then decide.’

Some theatres like Premiere in Dadar are not prepared to release Karan Johar’s flick ‘We Are Family’ at all as they feel that it would affect the chances of making money with ‘Dabangg’, which is very hot among the audiences.

Even Chandan cinema in Juhu is yet to sign a deal with Karan Johar’s ‘We are Family’, while the deal with Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ has already been signed and sealed. However, UTV officials refuse the argument and say that they had already locked some theatres and even listing

Kareena Kapoor No More Weight Flaking: Kareena Kapoor laughed out reports claiming her filmmaker friend Karan Johar has asked her to shed weight for his movie, saying she is happy with the little that she has gained recently. "I read the report on the flight today (Tuesday). It is completely false. I am not going to lose any weight. I have gained a little recently and I am very happy with it," Kareena told reporters here at a press conference of her film We Are Family.

"I am amazed Karan has told the whole world about it but has not discussed anything with me," she said sarcastically. Releasing Sep 3, the film stars Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. The actress, who claims the film is her 40th project, says the film has helped her in strengthening her bond with co-star Kajol.
"I have always admired Kajol as an actress. We have worked together earlier in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham but we had very few scenes together. "But in this film, we got a chance to share a lot of time and you will find us together in almost every frame. We have become very close friends now," Kareena said.

My character not influenced by Rani, Kajol: Deepika

Deepika Padukone is playing a blind girl in 'Lafangey Parindey' and it instantly reminds one of Rani Mukherji's performance.
In 'Black'(2005) and Kajol's in 'Fanaa'(2006), but the actress maintains that she didn't let either of them influence her character.
"I have seen Rani in 'Black' and Kajol in 'Fanaa', but I didn't see them before my own performance because I didn't want to be influence by anyone else's performance.
I wanted my own take on what suits my character," Deepika told reporters at a press meet. "I have spend a lot of time with blind people and that helped me a lot," she added.
For the press meet, the set of Tilak Wadi, a fictitious place in Mumbai shown in 'Lafangey Parindey', was made in the studio and Neil Nitin Mukesh, Deepika along with a few other actors did a small act to give a feel of the film.
Singer Shail Hada, Suraj Jagan and Shilpa Rao sang songs from the film and it was complemented with dance performance. "I doubt if ever I have promoted any of my film like this. Another thing is I for the first time I interacted with my audience and fans at such an extent," said Neil.
