Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan Split Up...

After three years together, Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan have decided to call it a day.  Robert Garlock, the actor's representative, said in a statement that they "have decided to split amicably''. Grant's last public appearance with Khan was at the New York premiere of his new movie, Music And Lyrics. Jemima Khan, the daughter of billionaire James Goldsmith, has two sons from her marriage to world cricket legend and Pakistani politician Imran Khan.
Until very recently the relationship looked healthy, with Grant describing his girlfriend as a strong woman who made him "get on with things", including encouraging him to start writing a novel. Khan had even been including Grant in some of her international charity work, taking him to Kenya to see the deprivation experienced in Nairobi. Bachelors, take note!  Known to some (a very, very few) as the Aishwarya Rai of Pakistan (only because of her colored lenses, we assure you), she is nevertheless the reigning queen of Lollywood.  And now she's on the hunt.
As reported by local newspapers, Reema is looking for Mr. Right.  And what, pray, does Ms. Right want? Definitely not the sun, moon, or the stars, but short of that, everything! She wants the man to be neither stingy nor a crazy wild spending freak.  She wants him to be compassionate towards others but mostly her, so he can keep her completely happy.  According to the Pakistan Times, "she made it clear that so far she had not met the man having such qualities and did not know whether and when she would find him."  She also pledged that she would take care of her spouse and cater to his needs.

Mistakes but no regrets says Spears' mom

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Lynne Spears says every mother makes mistakes but she has no regrets about letting her daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn pursue their dreams of stardom.
"I think you have to let them follow their dreams. I think it would be worse in the end if you didn't," Spears, 53, told People magazine in an interview marking the publication next week of her much-anticipated memoir.
As Britney's star rose, Spears said she felt she was losing control over both her daughter and how she was portrayed.
"I let other people talk me out of things that I felt a gut instinct about," she told People.
The memoir "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," is published by Thomas Nelson, a Christian publisher of bibles and inspirational books.

CMA nominations: Not so 'Swift'?

Brooks & Dunn have a nifty hit single out now called “Put a Girl in it,” and I only wish the country music industry would take that advice more often. I thought about it as the nominees for the 42nd annual CMA Awards were announced today. Country insiders often bemoan the fact that female artists seem to generally have a tougher time of it at radio than male artists do, or that they at least seem to have fewer slots open to them. That is perennially reflected in the nominations for the CMAs’ highly coveted Entertainer of the Year prize. How long has it been since a woman was even nominated in the category? Here’s a clue: The last female nominee was the then-superstar/now-pariah Dixie Chicks! (You can find a historical list of nominees dating back to 1967 here.) So I was stunned and amazed today when into this reliably vagina-free zone walked Sugarland, who would initially seem, on the face of it, to be half-ineligible.

Montana Fishburne: I Wanna Be in Porn, Not Act!

Contradicting previous statements she's made about making her adult film debut to launch her career a la Kim Kardashian, Laurence Fishburne's daughter Montana now says she became a porn star at age 19 ... just because.

"Being in an adult film is not a big deal to me," Montana Fishburne tells People, claiming this has always been a dream (yikes). "It's something I always wanted to do. I have always been comfortable in my body and with my sexuality."

She's not hoping her adult film, which will be released by Vivid Entertainment August 10, will spawn a mainstream acting career. Probably a good thing, too.

Laurence Fishburne starred in Mission: Impossible III. Similarly, teenage daughter Montana Fishburne has set her sights on Missionary: Position.

"I had already filmed it by the time they knew so I didn't give them a chance to talk me out of it," she says of the Chippy D sex tape, which she made after turning 18 "so I could pursue what I want without being constrained by them."

Her father is understandably devastated, she confesses - and even offered to pay $1 million to Vivid to purchase ALL copies and block its shipment.

Unfortunately, according to a report on TMZ, his lawyer, Yale Galanter, got through to Vivid a little too late and the sex tapes had left the premises.

"I hear through relatives that he's upset but I haven't talked to him directly for him to tell me his feelings," Montana admits. "I hope it's not hurting him. This wasn't done to hurt him. I think it will take time and talking through the issues."

The Real Housewives of D.C. Slam Michaele Salahi

Whoopi Goldberg is not the only person to despise Michaele Salahi.

Just one episode into The Real Housewives of D.C. on Bravo, the reality star's castmates are already talking badly about her and even making threats about future seasons.

After Michaele and husband Tareq didn't appear at the show's season premiere party yesterday, Catherine Ommanney said: "I don’t want to see them; I don't want to talk to them. I don’t want to be associated with them."

Would she return for a second season if the Salahis were still part of the cast? "Absolutely, categorically, no. I'll have to have therapy the rest of my life to get over being associated with her."

Another Housewife, Lynda Erkiletian, shared a similar sentiment with Us Weekly: "I was very happy to hear that they had their own premiere party and would be attending that and not torturing us any more than they have in the past."

Meanwhile, Mary Schmidt Amons takes the side of Goldberg when it comes to the tiff between Salahi and The View. She says:

"I don’t think the Salahis are really good at saying they’re sorry to anyone. It’s not my place to judge. All I know is that the accusations coming forward from the Salahi camp are completely false. It was on camera, a 200-person audience - Whoopi was just trying to encourage her to get back on task to the question, just get back to the question and answer the question."

Hmmm... remember when Stacie Scott Turner said this version of the Housewives franchise would focus on sophistication over fighting? That was funny.

Mel Gibson's Sons: Witnesses in Abuse Case?

Scandal-plagued Mel Gibson's family has stood by him, but Oksana Grigorieva says two of the star's sons have first-hand knowledge of his violent side.

William and Tommy Gibson may be keys to who is telling the truth in the custody battle and domestic violence investigation that divides Mel and Oksana.

The star's ex-girlfriend accuses him of hitting as she carried their baby daughter, Lucia, in January, and that she feared for her life during his rampages.

An incident a month earlier may provide critical. According to Radar Online, Mel went into a tirade and threw a chair through a glass door in December.

Oksana, her mother, and Lucia cowered. William, one of Mel’s seven children with wife Robyn Gibson (who denies he was ever abusive) was also there.

Until now the identity of this alleged witness was not known.

A source tells Radar: “Oksana’s mother was downstairs at the time but apparently heard the screaming and commotion and immediately went upstairs."

“After she saw Mel screaming at Oksana, she ran out and quickly returned with Mel’s son, William, who attempted to engage Mel in conversation."

“William tried to talk Mel down from his tirade and engage him in a conversation while Oksana and her mom fled to a guest room with the baby.”

Earlier this week, Oksana alleged that she say Mel hit his youngest son Tommy at a hockey game at L.A.’s Staples Centre two-and-a-half years ago.

“Oksana said that approximately two-and-a-half-years ago, while Mel and Tommy were in her presence, Mel hit Tommy in the head,” said a source.

Investigators have spoken with Mel, Oksana and her son Sacha, 12, who was also a witness to the January 6 brawl and may have been hit by Mel.

Oksana wants the court to strip Mel of custody of Lucia. Police are investigating her claims of domestic abuse, and his claim that she extorted him.

Olive Uniacke Rumored as Daniel Radcliffe Girlfriend

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe didn't celebrate his 21st birthday alone last month.

The actor was spotted out with Olive Uniacke, the stepdaughter of David Heyman, who has produced many of the Harry Potter movies.

According to a source, speaking to London's The Daily Mail: "Olive and Dan have known each other a long time... They were close a few years ago but the relationship fizzled out then. Even so, they have always remained friends. And in the last few months they have grown closer again."

Uniacke, studied at the Gordonstoun school in Scotland, the same institution that educated Prince Charles. Moreover, this 19-year old knows how to party!

"Olive is renowned for holding some of the best house parties, really great bashes," said the insider. "She can be quite wild. She loves to drink champagne, particularly Moet, and she chain-smokes Camel cigarettes. She also loves to go nightclubbing."

This is all terrible news for Ginny Weasley, of course. How can Ron's sister's possibly compete with all that?!?

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky: Married!

Chelsea Clinton, who Americans first got to know nearly two decades ago as the young daughter of President Bill Clinton, is now a married woman.

The lucky man is longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.

Wearing a dress by Vera Wang (a family friend who was present), the former First Daughter, 30, wed the investment banker, 32, in Rhinebeck, N.Y.

An interfaith ceremony for Chelsea, who is Methodist, and Marc, who is Jewish, was conducted by Rabbi James Ponet and the Rev. William Shillady.

Saturday's wedding was attended by 400 friends and family members, most notably Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton (wearing Oscar de la Renta).

The former President and current Secretary of State released a statement: "Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and close friends."

Rhinebeck, a beautiful, small town in upstate N.Y., was swarmed all week by paparazzi and national media trying to catch a glimpse of the festivities.

Everybody understandably wanted to see how the teenager who grew up in the White House blossomed into a blushing bride - and with good reason.

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky live in New York City and have dated since 2005, although they have been friends since they were teenagers.

Bristol Palin-Levi Johnston Engagement Off; Briana Plum Facebook Pic to Blame!

It looks like the second engagement of Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston is off, but that the rumor of him knocking up his ex-girlfriend is not the reason.

His flirting with another ex-girlfriend is!

Bristol, 19, called off engagement #2 to Levi, 20, last week following a huge fight over one of his ex-girlfriends - and we don't mean Lanesia Garcia.

Garcia was outed as Levi's possible second baby mama this week, but new reports say that the Playgirl model is not the father of her unborn child.

Luckily for our boy, he wasn't the one among the "three potential fathers" to have impregnated Lanesia during the probable week of conception.

But Bristol Palin still has beef with him - and Briana Plum.

Levi Johnston apparently got naked a lot in between his two engagements to Bristol Palin, and we're not even talking about his Playgirl photo shoot for once.

"Lanesia and Levi have dated off and on over the past few years but he's not the father of that baby," says a source to E! Online. "Lanesia's other ex-boyfriend is the father. She's not the reason that [Bristol and Levi] broke it off."

That would be Levi's other ex, Briana: "There was an interview with her and Bristol wasn't happy about things she said. There was also some picture on Facebook of him and Briana and Bristol just said, ‘Let's hold off on the engagement.'"

Neither Palin nor Johnston have confirmed this, but the parents of 19-month-old Tripp just got engaged again a few weeks ago, landing them on the cover of Us Weekly amid rumors of shopping a reality show featuring their young family.

Guess even a huge paycheck can't keep some fake relationships intact.

Heidi Montag Files For Divorce; Spencer Pratt Calls Marriage a "Show" For The Hills

Almost two months after the plastic princess went to court seeking legal separation from the puppet master, the reality star has filed for divorce.

Heidi Montag cites the usual "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the pair's split in a divorce petition filed in Santa Monica, Calif., Court.

"Heidi has amended her petition for separation and has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt," attorney Jodeane Farrell said. The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner."

Hopefully Spencer Pratt finds comfort in his beloved crystals.

Adding that terms will be hashed out in an out of court settlement, Farrell said "both parties are amicable with each other and finalizing the divorce."

The couple staged a sham wedding in Cabo in 2008, then tied the knot for real in April 2009 at a church in Pasadena, Calif., appearing happy.

Things went downhill fast, however.

Heidi Montag underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day, fired Spencer as her manager, released terrible music, accused The Hills creator Adam DiVello of sexual harassment and became estranged from her family and so on.

For his part, Spencer Pratt has grown increasingly eccentric, and even admitted to being a fame whore and choosing his "career" over his wife.

Heidi Montag then and now. Enough said.

He echoed that sentiment yesterday to People.

"I love Heidi but our marriage was a show – it was part of The Hills world," Pratt said after the divorce filing. "That world is on a sound stage."

Referring to himself in the third-person, he adds: "It's clear that reality TV-fame-loving Spencer Pratt does not fit with my ex-wife Heidi Montag's ambitions for a motion picture actor/pop star career and being a single sex symbol for the world."

"Some say if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen, Well, Heidi couldn't handle King Spencer's fame so she got out of the marriage."

Right. So basically, his stardom is just too enormous. Makes sense.

Al Gore Cleared in Sexual Assault Investigation

Former Vice President Al Gore may have lost the 2000 presidential election to George W. Bush, and may be unable to defeat climate change all by himself.

But at least he thwarted Molly Hagerty.

Gore was cleared of a massage therapist's sexual abuse allegations due to "lack of credible evidence" in the case, Portland, Ore., prosecutors said Friday.

The Multnomah County D.A.'s office decided that a "sustainable criminal case does not exist" after re-examining sexual assault claims by Molly Hagerty.

The masseuse said Gore made "unwanted sexual contact" with her during a massage at his hotel in 2006. The National Enquirer recently broke the story.

Later, two new accusers made similar claims.

DO NOT MESS WITH AL GORE.

Prosecutors declined to pursue the case against Al Gore after interviewing witnesses who were at the hotel and since Hagerty failed a polygraph test.

The D.A.'s office also said that "forensic testing" disputed her accusations. It's not clear what types of tests were conducted and on what evidence.

We're guessing the supposedly soiled pants of his ... Gross.

"Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago," spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said.

"He respects and appreciates the thorough and professional work of the Portland authorities and is pleased that this matter has now been resolved."
